They are LED diode lasers. The output is true coherent light. It makes no difference if the light is created using solid state electronics or gas tubes. The laser medium can be a solid, gas, liquid or semiconductor. The terms CW and SP are often used as a marketing ploy but merely refers only to the way they are driven and controlled. Spooky Cold Lasers run in both modes.
