The BNC cables are 50 Ohm rated. To extend the shielded and filtered cables puts it at risk of once again becoming an antenna which will soak up the plasma emissions. This will cause interference to the generator knocking it offline.
If you are going to extend it, try to keep it to a minimum length and ensure you are using quality shielded cables. 80 cm may be too long.
The cable will have to be a Male to Female BNC cable.
