Try opening the Advanced Menu and ticking the All generators are 192000 BPS checkbox, then rebooting the entire rig, PC included. That will blow any dust out of the pipes.
If the generator doesn't appear in Spooky2, reverse the change you just made, and repeat the complete reboot.
