If I clip my cat’s nail and hold it to save, is my DNA now on that clipping?

To be clear - the amount of DNA in nails is certain small. The amount of DNA you touching someone else’s nails transfers to those nails is essentially zero. Don’t worry about it. It’s not a thing. Your DNA will not be viable from just touching another nail clipping. Nails are used due to the DNA encased in Keratin to keep it preserved. Skin DNA will not work in remote mode so this is not an issue.
