I know the water of a Footbath decreases any tingling at the contact sites, so it makes sense that more contact of the the various contact pieces is going to reduce feeling of current at those sites.
It also makes sense that more moisture would allow more current through the skin, which would increase tingling possibility and better results from the procedure... I know I can feel some tingling up the legs when doing the Footbath, so I assume the wet contact pieces would work the same way.
One can also put a minimum frequency limit in the contact settings to move the frequencies up above the 10K level to reduce interaction with muscles and nerves, as desired.
