Is it safe to look at the plasma? (UV wise) What about infrared radiation?

Our Phanotron uses borosilicate glass. This type of glass is very strong, and has the inherent ability to filter most ultraviolet light. Infrared light is not filtered, but this does not matter. It is not dangerous.
