Do you recommend on buying a microscope to see "the enemy" in its face? If yes – what brand and to do which functions?

Microscopes are very expensive, and most pathogens are too small to observe with common microscopes. Only the very expensive ones can see viruses. If you want a good microscope, consider a darkfield microscope. These see cells easier than other types. I can't recommend any particular brand, as there are so many good ones available.
