I read that B vitamin supplements can be very dangerous when detoxing from mercury because it "methylates" the mercury into a more toxic state. Has anyone else heard this?

1. We know that the mercury is a problem, so if this is just one more reason it is a problem, it isn't going to get better by leaving the mercury in the body, as far as I can logic. If I need B vitamins to continue normal body function, then I need to take them - even while detoxing the other problem substance

2. This article's assertion was that meat provides plenty of B12, and that supplementing with B12 pills in the presence of a high mercury load would create an essentially new, 100x more dangerous version of mercury. I'm not stopping my metals detox, but I am going put off my daily B12 supplement because I eat plenty of red meat.
