If using the handheld electrodes, the current flows from one hand to another through your body. If you touch some conductive material with both hands, as a touchpad, the current is going to flow from one pole to the other using the path with the least resistance, in this case the computer.
Doing this, you get two things:
1. - the current doesn't flow through your body.
2. - the current flows through your computer.
So you might not receive what you were expecting, and your computer could be severely damaged, because it might be receiving what it wasn't expecting (at all).
