It’s hard to say. But in my case i tend to get strong sensations when either the current is going through a bit of bodily tissue that seems to for whatever reason resonate with the frequency, or that I am attacking a pathogen that is moving as a result of the frequency. Sometimes it can be a good sign. If you are too uncomfortable, maybe change your grip, use tens pads on different locations and the like.
