1. You need to ensure each piece of nail is isolated within tape or label so that the DNA doesn't touch. Also, this enables you to easily remove someone's nail should they experience a Herx. Make sure you label each so you know which sample belongs to which person. As long as they fit, it will work. Some have stated that they have put in 50 at once.
2. If you're using one of the newer "clamshell" remotes, make sure it closes completely. Thus, if putting in multiple nail samples, they would need to be tiny. Just a sliver is enough.
