Remote killing programs are recommended to be run for 120 to 150 passes through the program. If you want to stop sooner and run another scan, then run the new results, this seems to be acceptable as the scan program will be updated sooner - so likely better.
With the current Remote 2.0, there is no longer this time limit, so use it as long as necessary to deal with the problem.
