This is NOT recommended. While you can disconnect the contacts from the body, you can NOT stop the remote from using energy. If you leave it attached to the generator, it will take energy from the contact session - and may still contain bits of DNA so it continues to treat you (or whoever) - only with contact parameters rather than remote.
