Can I use an external amplifier?

You can, but you may have to create adapter cables for the BNC to audio plug, plus limit frequencies coming out of Spooky to the frequency response curve of your specific external amplifier. Most stereo amplifiers can only amplify frequencies up to 20,000 Hz, the Spooky is able to go to 40,000,000 Hz.

  • The correct frequency range is 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This is the normal human hearing range. Many systems also have a frequency response that falls below and above this.
