Why is my MN port light lit when the boost is connected to the BN port?

The remote is always connected to the BN port. The light just denotes the out 1/out2 frequency being sent. The boost actually mixes both the out 1 and out 2 frequencies and makes it available at BN so you are covered. You can ignore the lights on the boost for now.
One other possibility is that the out 1 port has very high frequencies and out2 has low which is causing the out2 led to glowing whereas the out1 is not.
I wouldn’t worry. Boost takes care of both ports.
