Number 5 is the only one that should be changed, and yours is correct for self powered. The default is "bus powered" which allows the CP2102 to blow its voltage regulator if the mains power goes off. I hope this is now fixed in the factory.
Pid and Vid are unique identifiers used by the USB. If changed the XM will not be recognized. These are used in Windows registry, and if changed its a registry edit job to get this back.
I have used this Silabs utility but for most people. Henriks program fixes this and is more user friendly.
The serial number does not seem to caused any problems now, as it did in our very early days.
