Is selecting 20 as the amplitude and ticking the box for reduce amplitude <10 make a difference to my scan?

No, it is fine. Most of the time, the scan is done with frequencies above 10K (10,000). The default I use is 76K to 152K per the latest Users Guide, pg. 164 ( pg. 169 of 249).
