I'm using the Spooky Boost 2.0. Do I still need the boost cable to produce the Scoon effect? I write only: Out2 = (Out1*1) + 0.1?

The Scoon effect is based on the fact that when you mix two frequencies just a little bit different, you get a beating result, that produces a sweep in the Duty Cycle of the resulting waveform.

You can receive this effect via Remote mode if you use a boost cable (or boost 2.0) to mix the two Outputs, or if you use two remotes, one in each Out.

Same thing with contact mode. You can mix the two signals with the Boost cable, or you can use two pairs of tens pads or electrodes from the two Outs.
Whatever method you prefer, it has to use the two Outs.
