When modulating F2 by F1 is this standard AM modulation?

In general, not really. It is for a single period of the custom waveform, but other than that, no. Where this feature is standard AM modulation is when you want to modulate a higher frequency by a lower frequency that happens to be a whole number subharmonic of the higher frequency. That is, when F2 = F1 X Multiplier, where Multiplier is whole number value, then yes, you will have standard AM. But if you wanted to modulation 3.1MHz with 111111Hz, you can't specify this via this feature. (well you can try, but it you'll get a discontinuity in the higher frequency output)
