How do you know when to run your contact treatment right on GenX or to run it off of boost?

The only contact that is recommended to be run directly connected is the Biofeedback scans, as far as I know.
The only reason I can think of to run general programs via contact directly connected to the GenX is if one doesn't have things set for Ch2 to contribute anything AND the boosted signal is too much for the individual. Of course, if the signal is too much, the output voltage can be reduced to a comfortable level.
